Dallin- The Great 8 Date!

Dallin Turned 8 at the end of May, but we decided to wait for his baptism until he could be with family. Rusty flew in from Dallas for the weekend and, luckily, my parents ward in Bluffdale was very accommodating and let him join in with their baptisms on the 4th of July. What a great way to celebrate "Independence" day.
In spite of the early hour and holiday many of our family members were able to make time to be there. My parents and brothers and sister and their kids were there as well as Rusty's sister Sam and her family. We even had a surprise visit from some friends from our ward in Enoch who were attending the same baptism service for their nephew who was being baptised the same day. My dad's brother was the presiding authority for the ward so my aunt and uncle were there as well.
We are so proud of Dallin and the good choices he makes and for his example to his brother and sisters. They all love him so much. What a wonderful memory to share with our family.

To celebrate Dallin's baptism we went on a special date to The Roof and Temple Square. We did this with Lauren and hope to do it with each of our kids when they are baptized.
Here is my favorite picture we took on that date.
